Hrímnir Saddle : FOR SALE ~ Hrímnir Icelandic Saddle

The Hrímnir was designed by hundreds of Icelandic horse owners from all over the world, who over the years shared their thoughts and ideas. Antonio, head saddlemaster of Ruiz Diaz, then transformed those ideas into the saddle. The saddle is built on a DuPont Flextree - temperature changes don't affect its structure, and the material offers exceptional flexibility. Specially tanned French leather was chosen for the seat and knee rolls, to prevent it from being slippery. This saddle is ideal for trail or competition riding. It is a short, flexible saddle which makes it ideal for horses with a short back. The quilted seat makes it very comfortable for the rider. Today, it is one of the most popular Icelandic saddles.

This saddle is used, but in good condition. It has always been well cared for. The tree size is not marked, but I would say it is a medium Icelandic size tree. The saddle seat measures 18 inches, which is pretty standard for Icelandic saddles. Although it is designed for an Icelandic horse it can certainly be used on other breeds – especially those that need a wider saddle.
